May 10, 2023: Dyer Brook, ME 04747 The Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME) softball the visiting Madawaska Owls (Madawaska, ME), 10-6 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Warriors (7-0) will now prepare for their bout against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME). The Hawks go into the Class D North bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Hodgdon nipped Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME), 11-4, in a league game.
In their next game, the Owls play the Fort Fairfield Tigers (Fort Fairfield, ME) in a Class D North game, on Friday, May 12. Madawaska will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 0-7 record after their 31-2 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, ME).
