Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC), 4-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lake Norman Charter upgrades its record to 19-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to battle the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 14. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 13-11. Oak Grove won 12-5 in their recent non-league test against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC)

With the defeat, Crest falls to 11-13 on the season.
