Missouri High School Baseball - Festus can't hold off Marquette
May 10, 2024: Chesterfield, MO 63017 The Marquette Mustangs baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Festus Tigers to 2 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs (9-19) will now prepare for their match against Eureka (Eureka, MO). The Wildcats go into the Class 6 District 2 match with a 24-11 record. In their last match, Eureka tipped Kirkwood (Kirkwood, MO), 9-0, in a league match.
The Tigers (22-7) will now prepare for their match against Sikeston (Sikeston, MO). The Bulldogs go into the Class 5 District 1 match with a 5-20 record. In their last match, Sikeston was edged by Kennett (Kennett, MO), 10-0, in a non-league match.
