May 10, 2024: Davenport, IA 52803 Davenport Central Blue Devils (Davenport, IA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Danville Bears (Danville, IA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils confront the Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 10. Davenport Central will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Nikes enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA).
The Bears now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 17. Danville will confront a Panthers team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-7.
