May 10, 2024: Reinbeck, IA 50669 Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rebels face the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks (Waverly, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 10. Gladbrook-Reinbeck will attempt to better on its 17-4 season record. The Go-Hawks enter the challenge with a 6-15 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA).
The Warriors now have a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they host Waterloo East for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Wapsie Valley will face a Trojans team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-24.
