Kentucky High School Softball - Estill County holds off Bryan Station
May 10, 2024: Irvine, KY 40336 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) and the visiting Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY), witnessed Estill County's softball squad tip Bryan Station by a count of 6-4.
The Engineers now sport a 10-16 record. They play next when they host Madison Central for a non-league match on Monday, May 13. Estill County will face a Indians squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Pulaski County (Somerset, KY). The Indians record now stands at 18-5.
With the loss, Bryan Station moves to 15-10 on the season. The Defenders host Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, May 13. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 8-13. Lexington Christian lost 16-10 in their recent non-league match against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY)
