Michigan High School Softball - Covenant Christian bounces Kent City
May 10, 2024: Kent City, MI 49330 Covenant Christian Chargers (Grand Rapids, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Kent City Eagles (Kent City, MI), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Chargers now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Pewamo-Westphalia for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Covenant Christian will face a Pirates squad coming off a 10-3 league loss to Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, Kent City falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Pine River Area (Leroy, MI) to face the Bucks in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. The Bucks enter the challenge with a record of 2-3.
