Maine High School Softball - Dirigo bounces Mount Abram
May 14, 2024: Strong, ME 04983 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) and the host Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME), witnessed Dirigo's softball squad prevail over Mount Abram by a count of 16-4.
The Cougars now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Monmouth Academy for a Class C South match on Wednesday, May 15. Dirigo will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 13-8 league win over Madison (Madison, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Mount Abram moves to 4-5 on the season. The Roadrunners travel to Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME) to face the Mustangs in a Class C South match on Friday, May 17. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 5-2. Monmouth Academy lost 6-5 in their recent league match against Dirigo (Dixfield, ME)
