North Carolina High School Softball - North Stokes holds off Draughn
May 10, 2024: Danbury, NC 27016 North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 12-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Wilkes for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. North Stokes will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 14-5 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 23-3.
With the loss, Draughn falls to 17-8 on the campaign.
