May 10, 2024: Frenchburg, KY 40322 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY) and the host Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), saw West Carter's softball squad achieve victory over Menifee County by a count of 14-2.
The Comets now sport a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bath County for a non-league match on Saturday, May 11.
With the loss, Menifee County falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY) to face the Panthers in a District 61 match on Saturday, May 11. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 11-9.
