The Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA) baseball trounced the host Silver Creek Raiders (San Jose, CA), 15-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Mariners now own a 10-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Soquel for a Santa Cruz Coast challenge on Monday, May 12. Aptos will clash with a Knights team coming off a 4-1 league win over Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA). The Knights record now stands at 22-1.

With the defeat, Silver Creek drops to 20-5 on the year. The Raiders host James Lick (San Jose, CA) to clash with the Comets in a West Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Comets go into the challenge with a record of 4-13. James Lick lost 7-0 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA)
