Kentucky High School Baseball - West Carter defeats Bourbon County
May 10, 2025: Paris, KY 40361 The West Carter Comets baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Bourbon County Colonels to 0 in the Comets non-league win on Saturday.
The Comets now hold a 12-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mason County for a non-league test on Monday, May 12. West Carter will play a Royals team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Royals record now stands at 7-13.
With the defeat, Bourbon County drops to 2-20 on the year. The Colonels travel to Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY) to play the Bluejackets in a non-league test on Monday, May 12. The Bluejackets go into the test with a record of 9-23. Nicholas County won 4-3 in their recent league test against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY)
