Kentucky High School Baseball - Boyd County wallops Mercer County
May 10, 2025: Ashland, KY 41102 In Saturday's non-league game, the host Boyd County Lions baseball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Mercer County Titans.
The Lions (24-5) will now prepare for their game against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league game with a 19-7 record. In their last game, Johnson Central knocked off Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY), 9-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Titans play the Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 12. Mercer County will attempt to improve on its 18-15 season record. The Wolverines go into the game with a 17-9 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY).
