The Fitch Falcons baseball squad (Groton, CT), was edged 3-2 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI)

With the triumph, North Kingstown moves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Skippers host Cranston East (Cranston, RI) to confront the Thunderbolts in a Division 1 contest on Monday, May 12. The Thunderbolts come into the contest with a record of 3-11. Cranston East lost 6-2 in their recent league contest against Moses Brown (Providence, RI)

The Falcons now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodstock Academy for a Eastern Connecticut - Division I contest on Wednesday, May 14.
