New Jersey High School Volleyball - Bergen Tech edged by Garfield
May 10, 2025: Hackensack, NJ 07601 Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Bergen Tech Knights (Hackensack, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Garfield improves its record to 14-5 on the season. The Boilermakers host Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (Paterson, NJ) to face the Lions in a NJIC - American test on Monday, May 12. The Lions go into the test with a record of 4-10. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Becton (East Rutherford, NJ)
The Knights now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dwight Morrow for a Big North - Liberty test on Thursday, May 15.
