May 10, 2025: Naperville, IL 60540 The Naperville Central Redhawks soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Normal Community Ironmen to 2 in the Redhawks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Redhawks now hold a 17-1 record. They play next when they host Waubonsie Valley for a DuPage Valley bout on Tuesday, May 13. Naperville Central will play a Warriors squad coming off a 1-1 non-league York (Elmhurst, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Normal Community moves to 13-9 on the year. The Ironmen travel to Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Mahomet-Seymour won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Taylorville (Taylorville, IL)
