May 10, 2025: Grosse Pointe, MI 48236 Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bishop Foley Ventures (Madison Heights, MI), 10-7 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Grosse Pointe South advances its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Lutheran North (Macomb, MI) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 13-4. Lutheran North won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Athens (Troy, MI)
The Ventures (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Rochester held off Clawson (Clawson, MI), 13-1, in a non-league test.
