Illinois High School Softball - Stillman Valley can't get by Central
May 10, 2025: Stillman Valley, IL 61084 Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Stillman Valley Cardinals (Stillman Valley, IL), 2-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Central improves its record to 13-16 on the year. The Rockets travel to Hononegah (Rockton, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. The Indians enter the game with a record of 14-3. Hononegah lost 6-0 in their recent league game against Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL)
The Cardinals now hold a 14-8 record. They play next when they host Lutheran for a Big Northern game on Monday, May 12. Stillman Valley will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 23-0 league loss to Winnebago (Winnebago, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-17.
