The Farwell Eagles triumphed over the visiting Lake City Trojans softball squad by a count of 16-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI) in a Jack Pine challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Farwell will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Goodrich (Goodrich, MI).

The Trojans (1-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Roscommon (Roscommon, MI). The Bucks enter the Highland challenge with a 0-7 record.
