May 10, 2025: Hampton, VA 23669 The Norcom Greyhounds edged the host Hampton Crabbers softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Greyhounds meet the Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Norcom will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Commodores enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 16-0 league win over Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA).
The Crabbers (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Warwick (Newport News, VA). The Raiders enter the Peninsula challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Warwick edged Woodside (Newport News, VA), 19-9, in a league challenge.
