Illinois High School Softball - LeRoy bounces Morton
May 10, 2025: LeRoy, IL 61752 In Saturday's non-league match, the host LeRoy Panthers softball team scored a tight 12-6 win over the Morton Potters.
The Panthers (27-4) will now prepare for their match against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 8-13 record. In their last match, Rantoul nipped Clinton (Clinton, IL), 6-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Potters battle the Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL) in a Mid-Illini match, on Tuesday, May 13. Morton will attempt to better on its 6-20 season record. The Rockets come into the match with a 7-16 record after their 6-0 league loss to Washington (Washington, IL).
