In Saturday's non-league match, the host Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals softball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Saranac Redhawks.

The Cardinals (16-8) will now prepare for their match against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Chargers go into the Tri-Valley - West I match with a 4-10 record.
