Illinois High School Baseball - Mendota loses to North Boone
May 11, 2021: Poplar Grove, IL 61065 The North Boone Vikings baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Mendota Trojans to 1 in the Vikings league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL). The Royal Lions go into the Big Northern match with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Rockford Christian got by Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL), 6-1, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Mendota falls to 0-6 on the season. The Trojans host Oregon (Oregon, IL) to encounter the Hawks in a Big Northern challenge on Thursday, May 13. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Oregon lost 14-3 in their recent league challenge against Dixon (Dixon, IL)
