Connecticut High School Softball - Platt RVT bounces Goodwin Tech
May 11, 2022: New Britain, CT 06053 The Platt RVT Panthers (Milford, CT) softball routed the host Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), 17-2 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Panthers (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Red Devils go into the non-league bout with a 2-12 record. In their last bout, Stratford toppled Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT), 10-7, in a league bout.
The Gladiators now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Abbott RVT for a Connecticut Tech bout on Thursday, May 12. Goodwin Tech will confront a Wolverines squad coming off a 9-4 league loss to Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-10.
