Illinois High School Softball - Lake Forest Academy bounces Lake Forest
May 11, 2022: Lake Forest, IL 60045 Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), 9-2 in a league challenge.
The Caxys now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Francis W. Parker for a Independent Schools challenge on Thursday, May 12. Lake Forest Academy will battle a Colonels squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Woodlands Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Colonels record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Lake Forest falls to 0-20 on the campaign. The Scouts travel to Evanston (Evanston, IL) to battle the Wildkits in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 11. The Wildkits enter the challenge with a record of 0-16. Evanston lost 5-0 in their recent league challenge against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL)
