Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK), 11-4 in a league test.

With the win, Soldotna upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Stars host Wasilla (Wasilla, AK) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, May 13. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 14-2. Wasilla won 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Kenai Central (Kenai, AK)

With the defeat, Palmer falls to 5-6 on the season. The Moose travel to Homer (Homer, AK) to battle the Mariners in a Southcentral test on Friday, May 12. The Mariners come into the test with a record of 1-6. Homer lost 18-6 in their recent non-league test against Wasilla (Wasilla, AK)
