Illinois High School Soccer - Normal Community knocks off Washington
May 11, 2023: Normal, IL 61761 Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Washington Panthers (Washington, IL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Ironmen confront the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 17. Normal Community will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 5-16 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Meridian/Sangamon Valley (Macon, IL).
The Panthers now have a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaSalle-Peru for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 16. Washington will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 11-10.
