May 11, 2023: San Fernando, CA 91340 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Vaughn White Tigers (San Fernando, CA), witnessed Animo South Los Angeles's softball squad prevail over Vaughn by a count of 39-12.
The Panthers now sport a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Panorama for a non-league match on Monday, May 15. Animo South Los Angeles will face a Pythons squad coming off a 20-3 non-league win over Maywood CES (Maywood, CA). The Pythons record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Vaughn moves to 4-9 on the season.
