May 11, 2023: Dodgeville, WI 53533 Dodgeville Dodgers (Dodgeville, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wisconsin Heights Vanguards (Mazomanie, WI), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Dodgers now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Platteville for a Southwest Wisconsin challenge on Friday, May 12. Dodgeville will battle a Hillmen squad coming off a 10-3 league loss to Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI). The Hillmen record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Wisconsin Heights falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Vanguards travel to Deerfield (Deerfield, WI) to battle the Demons in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 12.
