May 11, 2023: Marengo, IL 60152 The Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) softball the visiting Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL), 6-4 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Indians (25-3) will now prepare for their bout against Ottawa (Ottawa, IL). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 20-5 record. In their last bout, Ottawa held off Rochelle (Rochelle, IL), 14-0, in a league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 19-8 record. They play next when they host Harvard for a non-league bout on Friday, May 12. Sycamore will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 10-8.
