In Saturday's non-league game, the host Chaparral Wolverines baseball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Brighton Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs (10-12) will now prepare for their game against Poudre (Fort Collins, CO). The Impalas go into the 5A Front Range game with a 8-14 record. In their last game, Poudre was overwhelmed by Greeley Central (Greeley, CO), 10-9, in a non-league game.
