Wisconsin High School Softball - Baraboo bounces Waukesha South
May 11, 2024: Waukesha, WI 53186 Baraboo Thunderbirds (Baraboo, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Waukesha South Blackshirts (Waukesha, WI), 20-11 in a non-league challenge.
The Thunderbirds now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reedsburg for a Badger - Small challenge on Wednesday, May 15. Baraboo will face a Beavers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Portage (Portage, WI). The Beavers record now stands at 13-11.
With the loss, Waukesha South falls to 8-14 on the campaign. The Blackshirts travel to Lake Country Lutheran (Hartland, WI) to face the Lightning in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. The Lightning enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Lake Country Lutheran won 6-0 in their recent league challenge against Brookfield Academy (Brookfield, WI)
