Minnesota High School Softball - Stillwater bounces Maple Grove
May 11, 2024: Stillwater, MN 55082 Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Ponies now own a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they host Mounds View for a Suburban East challenge on Monday, May 13. Stillwater will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, Maple Grove falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Crimson host Delano (Delano, MN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Delano lost 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Orono (Long Lake, MN)
