Michigan High School Softball - South Lyon bounces St. Joseph
May 11, 2024: St. Joseph, MI 49085 The South Lyon Lions routed the host St. Joseph Bears softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Lions (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeland (White Lake, MI). The Eagles go into the Lakes Valley battle with a 19-5 record. In their last battle, Lakeland nudged Mott (Waterford, MI), 17-0, in a league battle.
The Bears now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Lakeshore for a Southwestern Michigan - West battle on Tuesday, May 14. St. Joseph will meet a Lancers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 4-7.
