The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Morris Hills Scarlet Knights (Rockaway, NJ) and the host Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), saw Morris Hills's baseball team gain a win over Bloomfield by a tally of 7-5.

The Scarlet Knights (13-9) will now prepare for their battle against Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 11-9 record.

Next, the Bengals face the Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) in a SEC - Colonial battle, on Thursday, May 14. Bloomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Minutemen enter the battle with a 7-11 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Rutgers Prep (Somerset, NJ).
