Kentucky High School Softball - Bourbon County can't get by Pendleton County
May 11, 2026: Paris, KY 40361 The Pendleton County Wildcats edged the host Bourbon County Colonels softball squad by a count of 10-9 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 12. Pendleton County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Polar Bears enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 10-5 non-league win over Holy Cross (Covington, KY).
The Colonels (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY). The Bluejackets enter the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Nicholas County was nudged by Bath County (Owingsville, KY), 9-6, in a non-league challenge.
