The Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles triumphed over the host Albany Huskies softball squad by a count of 21-9 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN) in a Central Minnesota challenge, on Tuesday, May 12. Eden Valley-Watkins will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 6-1 league win over Royalton (Royalton, MN).
