Kentucky High School Baseball - Castle gets by Henderson County
May 12, 2022: Henderson, KY 42420 Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY), 6-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Castle upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Evansville Central (Evansville, IN) to battle the Bears in a Southern Indiana test on Saturday, May 14. The Bears come into the test with a record of 12-8. Evansville Central lost 6-5 in their recent league test against Evansville North (Evansville, IN)
With the defeat, Henderson County falls to 17-10 on the season. The Colonels travel to Lyon County (Eddyville, KY) to battle the Lyons in a non-league test on Friday, May 13. The Lyons come into the test with a record of 22-3. Lyon County won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Union County (Morganfield, KY)
