The Springfield Cougars baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Sun Valley Vanguards to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars (12-6) will now prepare for their match against Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA). The Panthers go into the Central match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Strath Haven was overwhelmed by Harriton (Rosemont, PA), 4-2, in a league match.
