The Guilford Grizzlies lacrosse team scored 19 points and held the visiting Staples Wreckers to 8 in the Grizzlies non-league win on Thursday.

The Grizzlies (13-1) will now prepare for their game against Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT). The go into the Southern Connecticut game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Sacred Heart Academy thwarted St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT), 15-6, in a non-league battle.

In their next game, the Wreckers clash with the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 14. Staples will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Rams come into the battle with a 12-2 record after their 16-2 league win over Norwalk (Norwalk, CT).
