May 12, 2022: Hughesville, PA 17737 Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Loyalsock Township upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lancers travel to Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA) to battle the Bluejays in a non-league test on Saturday, May 21. The Bluejays come into the test with a record of 1-1.
With the defeat, Hughesville falls to 5-4 on the season. The Spartans host Muncy (Muncy, PA) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, May 14. The Indians come into the test with a record of 2-0. Muncy won 6-2 in their recent non-league test against Northwest Area (Shickshinny, PA)
