Illinois High School Lacrosse - Carmel drops to Benet Academy
May 12, 2022: Lisle, IL 60532 Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL), 14-6 in a non-league battle.
The Redwings now have a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lyons for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 17. Benet Academy will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over St. Rita (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 10-7.
In their next game, the Corsairs clash with the Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 13. Carmel will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 4-13 record after their 9-8 league win over Libertyville (Libertyville, IL).
