Massachusetts High School Softball - Oakmont Regional bounces Algonquin Regional
May 12, 2022: Northborough, MA 01532 The Oakmont Regional Spartans routed the host Algonquin Regional Titans softball squad by a final score of 19-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Spartans (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA). The Blue Knights go into the Midland-Wachusett C battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Lunenburg topped Clinton (Clinton, MA), 7-3, in a non-league battle.
The Titans now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Groton-Dunstable for a non-league battle on Friday, May 13. Algonquin Regional will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-8.
