New York High School Softball - Bolivar-Richburg bounces Avoca Central
May 12, 2022: Avoca, NY 14809 Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines (Bolivar, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Avoca Central Tigers (Avoca, NY), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolverines now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Port Allegany for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 17. Bolivar-Richburg will face a Gators squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Otto-Eldred (Duke Center, PA). The Gators record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Avoca Central falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hammondsport (Hammondsport, NY) to face the Lakers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 13. The Lakers enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Hammondsport lost 13-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Arkport Central (Arkport, NY)
