Washington High School Softball - West Valley bounces Ellensburg
May 12, 2022: Yakima, WA 98908 The West Valley Rams routed the visiting Ellensburg Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 24-6 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Rams (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA). The Grizzlies go into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Sunnyside was routed by Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA), 25-5, in a league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Ephrata for a 2A CWAC bout on Saturday, May 14. Ellensburg will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to Othello (Othello, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-5.
