New York High School Baseball - Chester can't hold off Beacon
May 12, 2023: Beacon, NY 12508 In Friday's non-league game, the host Beacon Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Chester Hambletonians.
The Bulldogs (14-4) will now prepare for their game against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 9 Orange County III game with a 11-5 record. In their last game, Minisink Valley tipped Monticello (Monticello, NY), 24-1, in a league game.
The Hambletonians (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Fallsburg (Fallsburg, NY). The Comets go into the non-league game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Fallsburg was edged by Livingston Manor (Livingston Manor, NY), 11-10, in a non-league game.
