In Friday's non-league challenge, the Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA) baseball squad edged the visiting Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA), by a final score of 2-1.

With the win, Central Mountain upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Midd-West (Middleburg, PA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 15. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 14-2. Midd-West won 10-9 in their recent league challenge against Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA)

With the defeat, Mifflin County falls to 5-14 on the season. The Huskies host Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA) to battle the Colts in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge on Monday, May 15.
