In Friday's non-league challenge, the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) baseball squad the visiting South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC), by a margin of 11-6.

With the win, Hopewell betters its record to 22-6 on the season. The Titans travel to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC) to encounter the Rams in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 20-6. T.C. Roberson won 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
