Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA), 12-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Weed upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Cougars travel to Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 16. The Bears come into the test with a record of 15-8. Mt. Shasta won 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Portola (Portola, CA)

With the defeat, Quincy falls to 16-6 on the season.
