May 12, 2023: Downers Grove, IL 60515 The Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL), 8-1 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Downers Grove North upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Trojans host Lockport (Lockport, IL) to battle the Porters in a non-league test on Saturday, May 13. The Porters come into the test with a record of 0-2. Lockport lost 14-9 in their recent league test against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL)
In their next game, the Hilltoppers face the Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 13. Glenbard West will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Saxons come into the test with a 7-5 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Hampshire (Hampshire, IL).
